Next PostWe took the slow train from Geneva, Switzerland to Vernazza, Italy. Cinque Terre is, in a word, colorful. It’s especially fun that trains take visitors between the cinque (five) villages/towns (terra). Everyone’s friendly and we found a cute terraced apartment above a wine shop with an especially gregarious owner. The apartment was built INTO the mountainside and a huge rock was part of the flat’s architecture.
